What is PARAMPARA

 The Guru-Shisya Pratha dates back to the ancient times. We are organizing this event to celebrate the long-lasting relationship between a teacher and a disciple – a relationship personified through love and affection, devotion and commitment, discipline and hard work. Inspired by the intricacies of this relationship evolved the concept of PARAMPARA. Our mission is to provide a platform for the students of the Indian classical dance schools in and around Seattle to showcase their talents, pay our tribute to all the teachers in these schools who have put in so much effort into the making of this talent pool and celebrate their divine guru-sishya relationship.
